What OsmO Costs

Free to download. OsmO Pro is US$4.99 a month, and starts with a 7-day free trial. That's the whole pricing model — one paid plan, billed monthly, cancel whenever you want.

The two states: free and Pro

There aren't tiers to weigh up. There's the free app, and there's Pro.

  • Free. Download OsmO on iPhone or Android, create your account, and set up call forwarding. Costs nothing.
  • OsmO Pro — US$4.99/month. The full assistant: it answers your calls, makes calls for you, and everything below. Starts with a 7-day free trial.

Pricing is in US dollars for the United States and Canada, which is where OsmO is currently available. Your app store converts and displays local pricing and taxes at checkout.

What's included in Pro

Everything. There is no feature held back for a higher tier, because there is no higher tier.

  • AI call screening — the assistant answers calls you don't take, has a real conversation with the caller, and tells you what it was about.
  • Outbound calls — it phones businesses for you to book, ask, or follow up, including several places at once.
  • Custom Voice — clone your own voice so the assistant sounds like you.
  • Knowledge Base — teach the assistant your hours, prices, services, and policies so it can answer caller questions.
  • Transcripts, summaries and recordings of every call it handles.
  • Instructions and knowledge — rules for how it behaves, and facts about you or your business so it can answer questions.
  • VIP list — people whose calls skip screening entirely and ring straight through.
  • Recurring calls — put a call on a weekly or monthly schedule.
  • Your assistant line — a separate number to hand out so your personal one stays private.

How the free trial works

The trial runs for 7 days and gives you the complete Pro experience — not a limited demo. The app shows you how many days remain, so the end date isn't a surprise.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you aren't charged. Billing only begins if you're still subscribed when day 7 passes.

A practical note: the trial is genuinely more useful if you set up call forwarding on day one rather than day six. The product only demonstrates anything once it's actually fielding your calls.

Why there's no annual plan

OsmO Pro is monthly only. There's no yearly option and no discount for paying twelve months ahead.

That cuts both ways and it's worth being straight about it: you can't shave a couple of dollars a month by committing for a year. In exchange, you're never holding eleven unused months of a service you stopped wanting in February.

Costs that aren't on the price tag

The question people actually want answered before subscribing to anything phone-related is what else it might cost them. Two honest answers.

You don't need a second phone number. OsmO runs on your existing number through conditional call forwarding, the standard carrier feature that redirects calls you don't answer. No SIM swap, no porting, no extra line on your bill.

Call forwarding itself is usually free — but check your plan. On most major US and Canadian carriers, a forwarded call is treated like a normal call and doesn't add a separate charge. Some prepaid and older legacy plans do meter forwarded minutes. If you're on limited minutes or prepaid, look at your plan's terms for conditional call forwarding before you rely on it. This is a carrier question, not an OsmO one, and we'd rather you check than be surprised.

How to cancel

Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by OsmO directly, so cancellation happens in your store account rather than in our app.

On iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → OsmO → Cancel Subscription.

On Android: Google Play Store → your profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → OsmO → Cancel.

Cancelling during the free trial means you're never charged. Cancelling later stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, since they process the payment.

One thing worth doing on your way out: turn off call forwarding on your phone. If you leave it on after you stop using OsmO, unanswered calls will keep being forwarded. Our support page covers the codes.

How that compares

For context, the paid tiers of the apps people usually weigh OsmO against:

AppPaid tierWhat it does
OsmO ProUS$4.99/moScreens calls and makes calls for you
RoboKillerfrom US$4.99/moBlocks and answers spam with pre-recorded bots
Hiya Premiumfrom US$2.99/moCaller ID, spam warnings, auto-blocking
Truecaller Premiumfrom US$3.49/moCaller ID, ad-free, spam database
Apple iOS 26 Call ScreeningFreeBuilt-in screening on modern iPhones

Competitor prices are as listed publicly at the time of writing and change without notice — check their own pages before deciding. The more useful distinction isn't the couple of dollars between them: the caller-ID and blocker apps listed here focus on inbound protection. OsmO also places calls on your behalf, which is where a lot of the time actually goes.

And if your needs are genuinely just "stop obvious spam on my iPhone," Apple's built-in Call Screening is free and decent. We'd rather say that than pretend otherwise.
